Soniya Chanu wins Silver and Sandhya Rani gets a Bronze. While Sukhen Dey gets India a Silver in the men's Weightlifting and V Sriniwas Rao wins a Bronze in the Weightlifting. In the men's category Malaysia’s Ibrahim Amirul won the gold. Pace-Saniya in the next round of Mixed Double.
- Decision on Ayodhya came on the last day of September. Lord Ram gets his Birth place back after around 500 years. The Ram Janma Bhoomi was demolished by the looter Babar in the the year 1528 while he was he was in India to spread Islam.
